This is a great place for the whole family. This skating rink is located in Central Park and is a great way to reconvene with nature during your hectic schedule in NYC. It is outdoors and is only open when the weather conditions are okay. No need for you to lug your skates from home they rent skates and locker time for you to put your valuables away. There is upbeat music playing and you may actually enjoy spending time with your siblings as you go whizzing around the rink. After all this exercise, reward yourself with some delicious comfort food. They have hot chocolate, large pretzels, nachos with cheese (my favorite), and other delights one craves for on a cold day. Cons: It can get very crowded here. The skating level of the people varies. So, you can either be knocked over by an aggressive skater or stuck behind a very slow one.
